32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7?

<p>Windows 7 64-bit has been released for almost 7 months now and the response has been great from home users but not so from small businesses&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;<strong>Case in point<&sol;strong>&period; I was called the other day to install two new Laptops that Peter&comma; the owner of an Escrow company&comma; had picked up from Best Buy&period; After I connected the laptops to his network and started installing his SMS software an error msg came up saying that the SMS software is not compatible with the 64-bit Windows 7 OS&period; I called the software company and they told me that they do not have the 64-bit version of the software out yet and that is going to take some time before they do&period; They told me to stick either with Windows XP pro or the 32-bit Windows 7&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;<strong>Lesson learned&colon;<&sol;strong> Call your software vendors first and find out what OS they support before you buy a new PC for you business&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
